St. Ives Country Club Residence Kitchen

We chose a color palette of gray, white and silver. They did not want a traditional table in the kitchen, so we did a large island with ample seating. Gray tile was selected for the floor and the backslash is a combination of white glass tiles and a mosaic of silver, metal and mirror. The cabinets were painted white and the island painted gunmetal. Gray quartz was chosen for the counters and white carrara quartz for the island. Roman shades fabricated in an iron color woven faux silk fabric for the windows with the valance trimmed in a woven tape with square metal accents. The windows in the sitting area were treated with panels designed with the top 1/3 in a modern textured faux silk with the bottom in the same fabric as the roman shades. The same trim also highlights the panels. Funky chandeliers made of glass hang on each side of the keeping room, creating a separate space on each side of the fireplace. A pair of chairs covered in orange velvet with silver nail-heads creates an intimate space, opposite a banquette in woven gray textured fabric paired with an ottoman in printed leather. A small accent table creates just the right space for a drink. The same rug in a geometrical pattern defines each seating arrangement.
