"This family loves to cook! With a microwave that worked sometimes, a stove on its last leg, no ventilation or room for storage - this kitchen needed help! The entire room was gutted including floors, ceiling and walls. The ceiling was raised and a supporting exterior wall was removed, with the help of special beams, to open it up to a span of 22 feet. Overall, the kitchen size went from 187 to 533 square feet. To help with the storage problem, a large walk-through, hidden pantry was created along with adding a 42"" wide built-in refrigerator. To help with cooking, a double oven/convection microwave was added along with a convection cook top and wall hood. Also, a bar area was installed with liquor storage drawers, a double trash pull-out, ice maker, sink and beverage cooler."
