Kitchen with Custom Cabinets, Woodwork and Cross Hatch Beam Ceiling

This kitchen had a typical look from the 70's with fluorescent ceiling lights covered by plastic grids, 4" white tiled counters, and honey oak cabinets. I suggested we remove the old fluorescent lighting square recessed ceiling opening, and taper the corners to provide a hex shaped opening. After finishing and texturing the opening, we installed cross hatch pattern beams with crown molding stained to match the custom cabinets the clients had picked out. LED can lights were installed in each square of beam pattern, with a Tiffany globe light in the center, wired to separate dimmer switches for custom lighting control. The clients chose Cambria countertops, finished off with a custom stone tiled splash.
