The homeowner wanted to create a beautiful updated kitchen for their new home. They wanted lots of seating for the family and entertaining.
We started by selecting the cabinets in a white finish in order to create a feeling of the kitchen appearing larger. We then chose a glass backsplash in shades of olive green. The glass created a softer reflective feel against the white cabinets. Appliances and kitchen accessories were in a brushed nickel finish. We added a few glass doors that allowed for a color illumination. Black metal and glass pendants were placed over the large island along with a matching chandelier over the beautiful merlot finish dining table. A combination of trellis back side chairs and two fully upholstered wood chairs for the seating. A roman shade was placed at the window over the sink in a floral fabric in yellow, orange, green and gray tones.
The windows in the breakfast area were framed in panels in a yellow and white aztec design. The counter was done in ubatuba granite color to tie in with the color pallet. Beautiful art in rich orange tones and swivel bar stools in green tones help to finish the space and maximize seating.
