Renovated Full Bath in 1908 Victorian

The homeowner just purchased a 1908 Victorian-style home, and the bathroom plumbing was not working. After an examination under the house, it was found that the 8x8 hand hewn beam was rotted and pinched on the exterior wall. Plus, all of the copper plumbing ruptured due to lack of insulation and lack of winterization in the unoccupied home. The homeowner wanted a budget-friendly, yet functional bathroom which included a new vanity, toilet and shower. The bathroom was demo-ed to the studs. All structural, electrical and plumbing issues were repaired, an exhaust was added, and the fixtures were re-positioned for better functionality. The new bathroom features a corner glass enclosed shower, vinyl flooring, wainscoting, and new vanity and toilet, and of course paint. But the biggest change for the homeowner, besides the fact that it now worked, was there was finally insulation in the corner bathroom!
