Hello!

This project involved removing a dividing wall between the existing kitchen and dining areas, as well as removing the existing chimney centered in the house, and relocation of appliances, cabinets and lighting. The rear entrance was reconfigured to omit the pantry closet and open up a mudroom entryway. Pantry storage was relocated to the long island in functional, organized drawers.The goal was to achieve an extra long island with seating for the family's children at the island and open the space to the dining area. The island matches the existing perimeter cabinets which were also repainted and received new hardware. Traditional yet eclectic decorative lighting accents the space. The dark wood butcher block island top has a FDA approved finish. Hardwood flooring throughout the house was refinished.
