"This couple asked us to look at this downtown unit before they bought it. When I heard the price and location we said, ""We do not have to meet. Write the check and buy the place!"" So began one of the most wonderful relationships of my career. I knew we could turn whatever was inside into something spectacular to feature the amazing views and great location. So we gutted and completely re-configured the spaces: walls came down, toilets were torn out, rooms were merged, floors were ripped up, and we even threw out the kitchen sink. But when we put it all back together, it had an elegant and contemporary, yet comfortable, vibe. The couple likes their new condo so much they stay there as much in the off-season as they do during winter."
