We started by addressing the tile wall. It was covered with a beautiful scroll design wallpaper in powder blue with gold leaf accents. A chair rail was added to give the wall a linear feel. We then decided to paint the cabinets in a merlot finish with polished chrome pulls. A glass backsplash was installed to brighten the space and give the illusion of being larger. Light colored granite was also chosen for the same effect. A farm style hand painted table that could expand to accommodate 6 was placed in the eat in area. A banquet was placed along the wallpaper wall in a bold floral design in rich colors that pulled the space together. Armless dining chairs were also chosen in a bright orange linen. A light color ceramic tile flooring laid at an angle updated the concrete floor. To complete the new bright kitchen, we added a beautiful orbit chandelier with a crystal ball at the bottom to add the perfect ambiance.
