The homeowners vision was to create a large open space that included the kitchen, dining room, and living room. We made this possible by removing the kitchen from the center of the space and relocating it to the opposite side of the large room area by removing the dividing wall. An island was added which permitted the support post to remain in place, allowing plenty of room for this entertaining couple to invite friends and family!
